Player Age Eligibility Season 2011 2012

Under 7 - the player must be 6 years old but must be under the age of 7 as of midnight on 31st. August 2011. The player must be born between 1st. September 2004 and 31st. August 2005.

Under 8 - the player must be 7 years old but must be under the age of 8 as of midnight on 31st. August 2011. The player must be born between 1st. September 2003 and 31st. August 2004.
However any 6 year old player may Register on his/her 7th. Birthday up to and including March 31st. 2012.

Under 9 - the player must be 8 years old but must be under the age of 9 as of midnight on 31st. August 2011. The player must be born between 1st. September 2002 and 31st. August 2003.

Under 10 - the player must be 8 years old but must be under the age of 10 as of midnight on 31st. August 2011. The player must be born between 1st. September 2001 and 31st. August 2003. Note: The League recommends that players who are 8 years of age as of midnight 31st. August 2011 play in the Under 9 age group, as they will not be permitted to compete the following season at Under 11 (FA Rule).

Under 11 - the player must have attained the age of 10 but must be under the age of 11 as of midnight on 31st. August 2011. The player must be born between 1st. September 2000 and 31st. August 2001. NOTE: A player who has not attained the age of 10 years before 1st. September 2011 must not participate in 11-a-side football irrespective of the date of their tenth birthday. Players under the age of ten years as at 1st. September 2011 must compete only in small-sided football for the duration of the 2011/2012 season - FA mandatory.

Under 12 - the player must be under the age of 12 as of midnight on 31st. August 2011. The player must be born between 1st. September 1999 and 31st. August 2001.

Under 13 - the player must be under the age of 13 as of midnight on 31st. August 2011. The player must be born between 1st. September 1998 and 31st. August 2000.

Under 14 - the player must be under the age of 14 as of midnight on 31st. August 2011. The player must be born between 1st. September 1997 and 31st. August 1999.

Under 15 - the player must be under the age of 15 as of midnight on 31st. August 2011. The player must be born between 1st. September 1996 and 31st. August 1998.

Under 16 - the player must be under the age of 16 as of midnight on 31st. August 2011. The player must be born between 1st. September 1995 and 31st. August 1997.

Under 18 - the player must be under the age of 18 as of midnight on 31st. August 2011. The player must be born between 1st. September 1993 and 31st. August 1995.

This League actively encourage players to play in their CORRECT age group until at least the Under 12 section. Whilst players may Register for Under 10 if they are 8 years old on 31st. August 2011, they would not be allowed to Register for the Under 11 age group for the following season.
